10 REAL tips to enjoy your run

by | Jan 9, 2021 | Inspiration, mindset, motivation, Triathlon

Do you want to get into running, but just don’t enjoy it enough? In honor of my 10 mile run with only 10 days to go until my first Ironman triathlon, here are 10 things that I do to make running more enjoyable.

  1. Wear fun pants
  2. Run with a friend or a pet
  3. Run by myself and just got lost in my thoughts
  4. Compile a good play list and sing out loud
  5. Dance a little bit along the way
  6. Enjoy the scenery
  7. Take it one mile at a time
  8. Sign up for a race and use it as motivation
  9. Remind myself how lucky you are to be able to run
  10. Think of how good I’ll feel when I’m done

What keeps you running?
